Terms of Service
Effective Date: March 11, 2026
Last Updated: March 11, 2026
Welcome to NPCWoods Telemedicine, PLLC (“NPCWoods,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website at npcwoods.com and our telehealth services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
1. Overview of Services
NPCWoods Telemedicine, PLLC provides asynchronous telehealth consultations for non-emergency medical conditions. Our services are provided by licensed healthcare professionals, including Nurse Practitioners, and are available to patients located in states where we are licensed to practice (currently Georgia, North Carolina, and Arizona).
Our services include evaluation and treatment of common conditions such as urinary tract infections (UTIs), sinus infections, strep throat, ear infections, and erectile dysfunction (ED). Treatment is provided at a flat fee of $59 per visit.
2. Eligibility
To use our telehealth services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age (or have a parent or legal guardian consent on your behalf)
- Be physically located in a state where NPCWoods is licensed to provide care at the time of your consultation
- Provide accurate and complete health information during the intake process
- Have a valid form of identification
3. Informed Consent for Telehealth
By using our telehealth services, you acknowledge and consent to the following:
- Nature of Telehealth: Telehealth involves the delivery of healthcare services using electronic communications. Your consultation will be conducted asynchronously (not in real-time) through our secure, HIPAA-compliant platform.
- Limitations: Telehealth is not a substitute for in-person medical care in all situations. There are limitations to telehealth, including the inability to perform a physical examination. Your provider may determine that your condition requires an in-person evaluation and will refer you accordingly.
- No Emergency Services: Our services are not designed for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.
- Prescribing: If clinically appropriate, your provider may prescribe medications. Prescriptions are sent to the pharmacy of your choice. Controlled substances (Schedule II-V) are not prescribed through our platform.
- No Guarantee of Treatment: A consultation does not guarantee that a prescription or specific treatment will be provided. Clinical decisions are based on professional medical judgment.
4. Payment Terms
All telehealth visits are offered at a flat fee of $59 per visit. Payment is collected at the time of the visit submission. We do not bill insurance. By submitting payment, you agree to the following:
- The fee covers the provider’s evaluation and clinical recommendation
- Prescription medications, lab work, and any referrals are not included in the visit fee and are the patient’s responsibility
- Refunds are available if no clinical evaluation has been initiated or if we are unable to provide care for your condition
5. Patient Responsibilities
As a patient, you are responsible for:
- Providing truthful, accurate, and complete medical history and health information
- Following up with an in-person provider if recommended by your NPCWoods clinician
- Informing us of any adverse reactions to prescribed medications
- Keeping your account and login credentials secure
- Using our services only for lawful purposes
6. Privacy and HIPAA Compliance
We take your privacy seriously. All clinical interactions are conducted through a HIPAA-compliant platform. Your Protected Health Information (PHI) is handled in accordance with federal law. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NPCWoods Telemedicine, PLLC, its providers, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific visit giving rise to the claim.
This limitation does not apply to liability for medical malpractice, which is governed by the laws of the state in which care is provided.
