No health plan needed. No membership. No app. You text a real Nurse Practitioner (me, Chris). If I can treat you, I send a plan, and a prescription to your pharmacy when it’s appropriate. You only pay if I can treat you.

I’m not the cheapest number on every list. I’m the pick if you want one named clinician, no app, no membership, and a straight $59 when a text visit is enough.

If a prescription makes sense, I send it to your pharmacy. A prescription is not promised.
Good fit, or not the right lane
A good fit if:
- You are in one of my 13 states: AZ, CO, GA, ID, IA, MT, NV, NM, NC, OR, UT, WA, or FL (by telehealth registration)
- You need same-day help for a simple problem, like a UTI, sinus infection, sore throat, pink eye, or skin infection
- You don’t want a waiting room, a portal, or a big bill
- You are fine texting instead of a video call
Not the right lane for:
- Emergencies like chest pain, trouble breathing, or stroke signs. Call 911.
- Controlled substances. I don’t prescribe them.
- Problems that need a hands-on exam, imaging, or labs
- Ongoing care for long-term conditions, which your primary care clinician handles best
- Children under 2. They should be seen in person.
Straight answers
Do I need a health plan for online urgent care?
No. NPCWoods is cash-pay. The $59 visit is the full clinician fee. No copays, no deductibles, no surprise bills. Medicine at the pharmacy is separate.
What is the cheapest way to get a same-day prescription online?
Compare three things: the flat fee, whether you must join a membership, and who treats you. At NPCWoods the visit is $59, with no membership, by text with me. A prescription is not promised. If medicine makes sense, the pharmacy cost is separate.
Is NPCWoods cheaper than the big telehealth apps?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Some apps list a lower price and some list a higher one. Check the table on this page. What you get here: the same Nurse Practitioner every time, text only, $59 flat, no membership. The big apps reach more states. I serve 13.
Is a text visit safe?
For many simple, short-term problems, yes. A careful history by text is often enough. If your problem is not safe for text, I will tell you, point you to in-person care, and you will not pay for a visit I cannot complete.
What states do you serve?
13 states, including Florida by telehealth registration (TPAN3355). They are Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, Utah, and Washington, plus Florida by telehealth registration (TPAN3355). You must be in one of these states during your visit.
