I'm Chris Woods, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner licensed in Idaho. I read your messages, evaluate your symptoms, and create a treatment plan. Real clinician, real care, just over text.
If medication is needed, I send it electronically to whatever pharmacy works, Albertsons, Walgreens, Ridley's, Fred Meyer, or the local independent shop in your town. Usually ready in 1–2 hours.
I get it, Idaho's a big state with a lot of wide-open space and not a whole lot of providers to go around. If you're in Boise or Nampa, you've got options, but even there the wait times can be rough. And if you're anywhere outside the Treasure Valley? You might be looking at a 45-minute drive just to see someone about a sinus infection.
That's the whole reason I got licensed here. Folks in Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Twin Falls, up in the Panhandle around Coeur d'Alene, y'all deserve to get treated without burning half a day driving to a clinic and sitting in a waiting room.
I'm especially useful for the stuff that's common but annoying: UTIs, ear infections, sore throats, dental pain that flares up on a weekend. The kind of thing where you know you probably need an antibiotic, but the nearest provider is booked out two weeks.
And here's the deal, a lot of Idahoans are self-employed or work jobs that don't come with benefits. It's $59, flat rate, and that's it. Your prescription goes to whatever pharmacy is closest to you.
