Torrance County runs from Moriarty on I-40 south through Estancia to Mountainair. Out here the nearest town can be a long drive, and a waiting room can spend the whole day. Text from where you are standing instead: it is a $59 visit, and meds go with you only if a prescription fits.

How a sick hour here shows up

Same $59 text. Still in Torrance County.

Along I-40

Someone turned warm and achy on the drive past Moriarty. Text the timeline before you give the afternoon to a waiting room.

In Estancia

A throat or a stomach that showed up at home. You are still in the county. A nurse practitioner can read the story by text if it is the simple pattern.

Down by Mountainair

Warm, clingy, not themselves, a long way from the next town. Stay where you are and text. If this looks like more than a text visit, Chris will say so before you pay.

Quarai

The old mission walls still stand. You do not have to leave the county.

Quarai and Abó are two of the old mission sites of Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument, both near Mountainair, and the monument visitor center is in Mountainair itself. People drive a long way to stand by these walls. If someone gets sick out here, text from the parking lot and keep the day: it is a $59 visit, and meds go with you only if a prescription fits.

If you are in New Mexico right now

Keep the county. Skip the waiting room.

Someone is home in the Estancia Valley, or driving through Moriarty, and then a person with them turns warm or hoarse. The drive to a walk-in and the wait after it would spend the rest of the day.

This is a $59 asynchronous text visit with a nurse practitioner, from home, the car, or wherever you are standing in Torrance County. No video. You must be physically in New Mexico. If a prescription fits, you pick it up at a New Mexico pharmacy.

How it works

Three texts. A pharmacy in New Mexico if it fits.

No app, no portal, no video. A prescription is not promised. You only pay if he can treat you.

The honest line

When a text visit is the wrong fit

A child who looks seriously ill. A stiff neck with fever. Trouble keeping fluids down. Anything that needs a room, imaging, or eyes on a wound. This page is for the simple hour in Torrance County, in Estancia, Moriarty, or Mountainair, not the scare that belongs in an ER. He will send you in, and you are not charged for a visit he cannot do.

Not for emergencies

Chest pain, trouble breathing, or a severe allergic reaction: call 911 or go to the ER. Text-based telehealth is not emergency care.
